Her work is rooted in the reclamation of Sacredness throughout childbearing and in revitalizing holistic community care. k’mae explains that belly binding is an ancient practice found in cultures around the world and is used to support postpartum healing. She discusses the physical, emotional, and energetic benefits of belly binding, including helping with organ migration, diastasis recti, and stabilizing energy centers. k’mae emphasizes the importance of intuition and individualized care in belly binding and shares a powerful story of healing through the practice.
